So tell me... as one glances up into the night sky at the brightness of a quarter moon and the sparkling of the stars, as the chilling night breeze gingerly touches the hairs along your arm and neck, as a single floating cloud crouches in the dark...tell me how in a world of 6 billion people that one can feel so utterly alone?

I wish I had an answer. "I think, therefore I am?" Because one can never escape one's own thoughts, how can one really 'grok' connectivity? It happens but rarely with another, and when it does -- is it any wonder it is such an overwhelmingly powerful feeling?
